The Ultravid's are exceptionally light due to the all new magnesium body and the new Leica HighLus System (HLS^TM), which is a special mirror layer on the prism system, ensures 99.5% light transmission and contributes towards an outstanding optical performance.

Both the 10x42 and 8x42 binoculars in the Leica Ultravid 42 series are available in a stunning high-grade leather covering making them 70g and 80g lighter than their rubber armoured counterparts.

The Ultravid 7 x 42 BR Leica Binoculars offer a large field of view (140mtrs) and a steady bright image, the Ultravid 8 x 42 BR / BL Leica Binoculars offer rich contrast daylight and low light viewing with their brightness being optimised for multi application use and the Ultravid 10 x 42 BR / BL Leica Binoculars offer a steady image at high magnification levels.
